ScottM
http://blues.nhl.com/club/news.htm?id=881507 The St. Louis Blues have announced that all proceeds raised through tonight's 50/50 raffle and silent auction will be donated to the victims of the Fort McMurray fire. Bidding in the auction is currently open and will continue through the second intermission of the game. They even have a link you can follow to bid online. This is the kind of thing that makes me appreciate hockey folks. When something like this tragedy happens, they're often among the first to jump in and help. My hat is off to the Blues! JR Ewing
Great to hear. Fort McMurray is a long way from St. Louis, but they're helping anyway.
ScottM
I won't start new threads for this since it might all start piling up, but the Flames and Oilers have chipped in $100,000 each to help Red Cross relief efforts. http://wtop.com/nhl/2016/05/nhl-oilers-flames-each-donating-100000-to-fort-mcmurray/
