blog-0321469001412833772.png1 – Edmonton Oilers coach Dallas Eakins will be the first coach fired.

2 – Television ratings will be at an all time high.

3 – The Los Angeles Kings will struggle out of the gate – the Kings played a lot of hockey last season/playoffs, without much of an off season.

4 – Jake Allen will emerge as the goaltending answer in St. Louis.

5 – Tyler Seguin will lead the league in points. He has the potential, and he will be playing with one of the best in Jamie Benn.

6 – Alex Ovechkin will have a bounce back season, and the Washington Capitals will be a playoff factor this season.

7 – Brock Nelson of the New York Islanders will be the shocker player of the year. He will go from a nobody to scoring machine.

8 – John Gibson of the Anaheim Ducks and Johnny Gaudreau of the Calgary Flames will battle it out for the Calder Trophy.

9 – Anaheim Ducks will win the Presidents Trophy.

10 – The NHL’s good luck with outdoor game weather will come to an end. One of the two games will be a weather nightmare.

11 – Martin Brodeur will finally read the writing on the wall and retire.

12 – Florida Panthers will announce that they will be moving to Quebec City.

13 – Fighting penalties will continue to fall, and concussions will continue to rise.

14 – Pekka Rinne will bounce back from a serious infection that sidelined him for most of last year and contend for a Vezina Trophy.

15 – The Detroit Red Wings will fail to qualify for the Stanley Cup Playoffs for the first time in 22 years.

I think the Oilers will and should be patient with Eakins. Guy needs time, and the revolving door of coaches needs to settle down for a bit IMO.

#15 has been predicted for a fair few years now. I'll believe it when I see it ;)

#5 I also agree!

#8 So far not while he is sending himself to the AHL lol

Great calls. Good predictions.

The NHL should introduce a best line award, and beat DUO

That 70's line - hasn't been a line this dominant since the LOD

Benn and Seguin - unstoppable together.
