  1. Past hour
  2. Once again they the Flyers outbid themselves...he was making roughly 275k is Russia to hitting the mother load in US...i feel like i'm being punked...where is Ashton?
  3. Bruins loss in game 2 was so depressing. I hope they don't shoot themselves in the foot the way they tend to do.
  4. I loved how the Ranger just took the puck from Ovechkin tonight and the Rangers scored a shorty. Ovechkin will never get another Cup, that's for sure. The Caps have too many bastards on the team. I hope they never win another game until they retire: Wilson, Oshi, Ovechkin.
  5. Tom Wilson is a scumbag, plain and simple.
  6. I hope not. He's an overrated moron on and off the ice. It would be a fluke if he passed Gretzky since he's not even close to as great a player.
  7. I agree. I like both players. They are merit to play in NHL. Like I said before, because they play hard, skilled and they are persistent in their production. If they can produce at least a half of point per each game then they will have a solid value for the overall Wild team's stats which we need a lot. Hope they will have a nice individual training in the Wild club during entire summer like Rossi did last year. Or maybe they will be able to develop some chemistry during that time too. Rossi's progress was evident in 2 seasons , in my opinion and in the opinion of my co-workers , just because of additional personal training with coaches during off season. And maybe Kaprizov will find some time to be involved during their training too? I am sure he is not planning to go in Russia during the summer and will spend a good portion of time in Minnesota. And he likes practicing a lot during off season.
  8. Lazy play from Ovechkin leads to an odd man short-handed rush and the 4-2 Ranger lead late in period two.
  9. A Jack Roslovic super-snipe high short side on the pp put the RAGamuffins back up 3-2.
  10. To answer the thread's title question I'd say trading Konecny means a more thorough rebuild is underway. I never thought they'd consider trading him. He's the heartbeat and the energizer for the Flyers. But after the way the season ended maybe Jones/Briere are re-thinking their strategy. Trading TK is the Flyers admitting "building a Cup contender will take longer than we thought." And then I watched Briere's exit presser.... never mind. They're not re-thinking anything...Laughton is a Flyers Lifer, TK too. I doubt Briere makes any hockey trades this summer. Maybe a buyout or a mercy trade for Atkinson...maybe Ristolainen gets dumped somehow somewhere...but no hockey trades. Briere sounds perfectly content to let things roll the way they are now going into next season.
  11. Dylan Strome wakes up, rushes to the net on the PP, and tips the ol’ biscuit into the basket for 2-2. Blimey.
  12. Today
  13. Likewise! No the Lumina is in Chevy heaven. I now drive a 22 Equinox. Had to buy a new one after a young girl plowed into my rear end on railroad tracks 2 years back. Seat belt saved me. New news is I have an ice pack on as I watch some playoffs, need myelogram in a month, I’m certain it’s herniation at C6/7, fusion likely coming.
  14. Wow. No thanks, I’m used to getting my balls busted!
  15. Yesterday
  16. I had to find something, anything to make that ridiculous number less painful. The combined cap hit is all I could come up with... sue me.. I think what happened is Danny offered 3.25 million rubles so it's actually only $35K a year. How he got around the league minimum is the real story here...
  17. Mika Zibanejad wiiiiide open on the Rag power play for the 2-1 lead. (Interesting that he actually hails from the country of Zibanejad, nestled amongst neighbors and once Soviet Union provinces Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan.)
  18. Yeah man I thinking they make the playoffs too plus I thinking they add pieces too next year and push hard all season...
  19. Four careless (maybe skill-less) Caps giveaways in just 1 minute of power play time. NYR with a good short handed chance. Fer crissakes.
  20. Strome with a great chance. No dice. (At least people are aware he is in the lineup unlike Sunday’s game.)
  21. What age is Konecny again? So many people on this board still think it's the pre-cap era - they think AAV and years don't matter, and they think the game is still clutch and grab, so players in their 30s are in their prime instead of over the hill.
  22. I don't think the size of the ice surface really makes a difference for him. Fedotov is such a large presence that the key with him is his lateral movement and how quickly he can get up from the butterfly. His movement is crisp. Just seeing him move side to side while in the butterfly is incredible. I get that his debut wasn't the greatest, but just watch clips from the games he appeared in and just watch how well he moves. That's going to be his thing.
  23. You keep making my points for me, lol. What's this world coming to?
  24. Yes , but high first round draft picks are given the rookie minimum of 950,000. We gave Fedetov who was a late round pick over three times that amount. That is very unprofessional.
