When it comes to hitting and receiving hits, let's level our sights and not lower our heads. "Finish your check" is bane our existence. We don't TEACH players HOW to hit properly (Tom Wilson doesn't, among others), nor how to receive a hit. DOPS is an after-the-fact mechanism.
