Oh, trust me, I blame Lindros lol. Why, I blame him for everything.
Yeah it's weird the head down thing. I cannot think of another player ever who just habitually skated around with his head down like that. It really is a miracle that he made it out of Bantam.
Nah.
Notwithstanding what John Davidson is saying about the shoulder in the face, that hit is into the chest. Erik bends over at the waist and cranes his neck down to put his chin on his chest.
That concussion is all about Eric coming to a dead stop and his brain sloshing forward. The contact with the head is incidental.
Head shots were not Eric's downfall.
The Steven's hit was a head shot for sure, and it sealed the deal, but Lindros problem was that he had his head down. All the time. People forget that Eric's first serious concussion was likely the Kasparaitis hit. No contact with the head: his body stopped but his brain kept moving.
I agree, we should get things back on track.
Weren't we talking about sheep? How soft their wool is, the innocence in their eyes, the plaintiveness of their baaaleful cry?
Oh, sorry, I digress....
Let's assume for a minute that the Flyers know whether Hart is one of the players to be identified (because Hart knows and has told them). Would they not have traded him already if he was on the list?
