@jammer2 It seems that good January Blueshirts form continues in February. I agree that Lundqvist is capable of even greater performances, although I wouldn't blame him for somewhat poorer results on some games. Let's hope being a member of Swedish National team for Sochi Olympics keeps him in good form - or even provides some additional improvements on it - so he comes back to his day-to-day job well prepared to win the Cup

Hey Jammer, do you feel like King Hen has been underperforming through this season? I firmly believe he is capable of much better performances, although one cannot blame him for poor occasional results.

Well, one has to be fair - NYR are in pretty good January form. Let's hope they can keep it as long as they can. Up until June possibly.

My prediction is not exactly prediction - it is more of a wish: Blueshirts won the Stanley Cup after 20 years. I can't say I remember the previous gap between the cup, since it lasted from 1940-94, but I can still remember 1994 winning. I wouldn't wanna wait for yet another 54 years to see another cup in their hands. OK, it's been 20 already...

Over and out, the King now probably leaves the building Blueshirts won the game vs Red Wings with the tiniest of results and Henrik Lundqvist was named 1st star of the game! What a beautiful day!

OMG, it took almost 55 minutes of the game for somebody to score. Luckily for me (being Blueshirts fan) Zucc scored for home team at Madison Square Garden. Will it last? Btw, anyone else here? Anyone familiar with NHL related website focusing on PP ? I sincerelly believe that special team play is the most crucial part of the game in nowadays ice-hockey. Teams are on similar levels when playing at full strengths; it's the imagination and the skills on special play that makes the difference. Good example - Ducks scored six (6!!!) powerplay goals last night against Canucks...
