Nice to see those guys finally starting to skate, and damn is Voracek flying or what!! Gotta love his speed. Mason - Flyers finally has goalie who is good and not a nutcase. I like the way Berube is coaching and how they play, I think Lavys system was also good but not with these guys...way too open and slow D for Lavys system. Hope they keep that speed up

Hey Guys...oh man its being painfull to watch Flyers this season..."again". i think there must be issues in locker room, also as much I like G he is not Captain for this team, he is shadow of what he was when Jagr was playing with him. I think to wake up the team they would have to take C from Giroux. They cant score, and if they keep playing like next 5 to 10 games then I would trade some key pieces ( Giroux, Hartnell, Couturier, Simmonds ) away IF they could get something really really good in return, not sure what that would be but... I would not trade Read, Voracek and other young guys they have... yes the D is still a mess BUT hey we have finally a good goalie!!!!! Mason has been really good, cant blame him. SO I think they are as bad as they play now, if you are superstar or elite player in NHL you score goals now and then atleast, but 20 games without a goal??? I really dont know what has happened to G, but I think the hole issue lies there.

I would like to see St. Loius Blues or Ducks win it. If I would have to pick one from East....Maybe Caps or Boston, Islanders will not win against Pens. Period. Like many here, I hope that it wont be Pens, Rangers, Leafs or Canadiens T

What I see as the main problem is that they are NOT having QB..no playmaker...Giroux is good, but....Jagr made him very good, almost superstar...but now Jagr gone he cant find the net cause there's no playmaker on that team...and G is not that good. He also needs to start to act like captain, for some reason he is playing with no heart at the moment,,,,not good. and the D is what it is...we have now 3 players in the D that has some idea what they are doing. Knuble....panic move in one way to replace Hartsy.... Read has been really good and even better when you value him by the money spend

I think the great thing LA winning the CUP is that Hextall will have the ring also He was the man. Miss his games and wild saves and being all "loco" Hextall has been my favorite Flyer along Lindross, BrindAmour and LeClair....always. I was happy Brindy won it in Carolina also, he did deserve that. But I dont mind all those Ex Flyers winning it there, they did not win Lord Stanley when playing for Flyers and that is what matters. Go Fyers. Did you guys notice that Vokoun went to Pissburgh.

Hey Swede, I think the LA Kings puzzle that seems to bring Lord Stanley to Hollywood is nothing to do with Carter or Richards. Its all about the Quick, Penner, Brown, Kopitar etc players, Richards and Carter are great players, but they are not winning cause of them. I think Flyers still won on that trade, we need to look ahead. We got also alot and hope those players will be part of Flyers when they win the Cup. The cold fact is that all those Ex Flyboys will have the ring next week. I dont think Devils can stop them...Quick is so good, and the team seems to fire on all cylinders around him and they are very physical and skilled team. I think they deserve to win, they have played unreal hockey in PO. I have always like LA ( as a west team ) but in the end I could not care who wins the Cup when its not Flyers.

I would really love to see Nash in Philly, but I think it wont happen. BUT I think the main issue is to get real no1 guy in D and maybe no 2 also I really liked the kids Flyers have, some really, really good rookies and great future ahead. I think Nash and G would be uneal..problem with Jagr were his age, he is slow and in playoffs he was just too worn out...bad passes, turnovers...you name it. JVR + Carle+Jagr = Nash. I think they could do it. Giroux, Danny B, Couts, Simmonds, Schenn, Read, Wellwood,Bourdon, HarryZ, Crosmann,Coburn, Hartsy and Rinaldo should all stay...with Mr. Universe.

Flyers lost cause our D could not clear the own end and our forwards could not figure out Devils D, Bryz was not that big factor, he made some good saves and let some bad goals, YES, but so did M.Brodeur and they won cause they were always one step ahead of Flyers. Always in this series. Flyers did not have change. Bye Carle, Bye JVR and not sure what to think of Jagr...he is great mentor for young players, but its not worth 3,3mil, hell no. If he loves Flyers as much he says, he would play for us for 1 mil, then I would love to have him back. But not 3.3mil. JVR, totally lost, and Carle...and yes they missed Pronger. There were "article" today in MTV 3 ( finnish TV) that Timonen played hurt, he hurt his knee on 5th game against Pens. Also said he has one year left with Flyers but he wishes to play 2 - 3 years still...( if he can and stays healthy ) If he is healthy he is still good D, puck moving and on PP, but we need one or two ( Pronger / Crosmann ) type of physical D to clear our own end. I think Coburn played well, Kubina and Carle are waste of money....

Yeah, seems like lots of them are not doing okey. Simmonds, Timonen, Grosmann, Read, Jagr ( maybe just age ) ...Giroux, JVR, Schenn not hitting...NJ has played like playoff team.

IF Flyers will start golfing early this year ( again ) ....then I have to say I will root for LA, I really like how their team is playing, Quick is the best goalie in the league at the moment and they are playing unreal hockey. Hey Mojo, yeah I wanted them to go out and show some balls, I did not mean that they need to take some more penalties and those refs ruined the hole game anyway, but I wanted to see some hard checks and if possible some open ice hits, god damn - we have some big D but you cant see any real punishment from those, specially now when Pronger is done ( I hope I am wrong ) and Grossmann is out...Kubina is big guy and like Coburn... I dont think you get suspended when you hit clean ( open ice ) or fight those bastards...Mathers should have been dressed also Yesterdays game did not mean nothing, but I think sometimes you need to show some balls and not be the bunching bag...Its been like that more or less few years already. And yes Rinaldos penalty was joke... But I agree, the best payday comes when we send them playing golf asap...

Flyers are soft. There were no "message send", there were more like getting embarrased. Harry Z got destroyed on that one sided fight, why on earth he did drop the gloves? Kubina has big frame but he aint punishing anyone coming on Flyers goal, plays soft. Most of the physical play last night was from Pissburgh, only real hit was more or less the one Rinaldo made, and we all know how that went As I have said many times before, time when Lindross and LeClair & co. where playing in 90´s there would have been message send by Flyers. Makes me f mad to see team lose after all that and Cindy and Malkin score goals.... I hope they get their act together and will play like Flyers.

They should use Lindross on next time Pisspurgh plays against Flyboys....I would love to see him sending Cindy out of this planet. I think those comments were funny...he has to laugh at him self specially what he is doing, well I do correct not doing, LOL. I actually like him as a person, all those funny/crazy comments...he is not stupid, BUT damn he sucks at goal now, not sure why. Maybe he cant handle the preasure, maybe its goalie coaching, maybe he is just f bad goalie in the end....maybe the D does play differently on front of him....but he sucks now. period. I really hope he finds his play and will stay in Philly - only if he finds his game I have watched Flyers from early 90´s more or less all the games...and I have to say that he wont last long if he plays like that, no one will in Philly.

Yeah so we are F##ked! The D is bad and also goaltending sucks big bucks.... We need to revamp the hole D, Pronger aint coming back, Timonen is solid 3rd or 4th next year and all the rest is crap....Coburn I would keep and Carle as 5th and 6th..but where are 1 and 2, that is huge problem. We also need some body in front, big and nasty. I really love how Simmonds, Couturier, and Schenn are playing, also Read is good, those are all young guys and lots of years to go....

Unreal, all I can say...too many head injuries this year.... Briere out for concussion is not a bad thing, he has not done anything lately, so maybe we can get some fresh blood there and new chemistry with Flyers youngsters...for a while its been Couturier, Read...even Schen who has been looking okey, cant say good but okey, and great to see Hartsy get 2 last night...hope they will pick it up now with G... Jagr....hhmmm not sure what to say, same old problems, not good. I would resign him for 1 mil, not more than that - if he does not play for the money he should play for the less. Go Flyers.

Thats true, I just saw the video clip on NHL.com and Bryz seems bothered on that hole issue, not sure that is good or bad. BUT yes Bob shold start, he got very expensive russian mentor... LOL I feel kind of bad for him even I should not...but lets hope Flyers will eventually get goalie out of him they paid, even close to that. He can now relax, preasure is gone...from WC game time to him focus on other games...and play a lot better. A lot better.... I really hope the comments from the Coyotes back in November were not true....He seems to be guy everyone likes, but he is kind of odd man, strange man...I dont care what he is if he can be the wall for us. I really think if he continues to play like this, he will be gone sooner than we think...

No worries, hhmm...I think Bob should start. I really like Bobrovski, I think he will be good goalie. I have been watching all Flyers games so far and I have been very, very "understanding" how Bryz is playing, but I have to admit that I start to also feel that signing him was BIG mistake...I hope I am wrong, but Mr. Universe seems slow, out of focus, easy shots goes true and just something isnt right how he is playing, not sure what it is but I am not so happy anymore we signed him....Time will tell, I hope he gets his sh!t together in next few weeks... I think Bob will start in WC, I think Bryz cant handel the preasure from Philly fans and media... Happy New Year for all of you! T
