    I know Shelley has a ridiculous contract but that is Holmgrens fault. You couldnt help feeling good for him after getting embarrassed on 24/7 by Rupp.

    Right after Prongers injury they couldn't live without him. Thats why they traded for Grossmann and Kubina. I agree they are doing good without him but lets just remember your talking about not missing a top 15 d-man of all time, who up until the eye injury was playing just as good as his first year here.

    To say Snider is dragging this team down is unfair. Me and 90% of other Flyer fans have been complaining about the goaltending on this team for 15+ years. They got the best available goalie at the time. His numbers were really good in Pheonix and I know he played on a defensive team but does that make Lunqvist A stiff if he played on the Flyers? Hindsight is a convienent thing to have.

    I would never call Lucic anything endearing let alone a hero. I think thats a dirty play. If Miller was a Defenseman it would still at the very least be charging. Miller should be whining about his teams reaction to the hit more then the hit.
