The one common through all the years,players,and coaches is Ed Snider and his right nut Clarkie!

I'm Just curious,what would you like him to do? Enlighten us.

The one person nobody discusses is Clarkie. This team has Clarkie's fingerprints all over it,his 90's teams were really Farwell's draft picks. 06-07 really resembles 13-14,he couldn't handle Lindro's parents,got rid of a few pretty good players, kind of like JVR for Luke Schenn. Maybe we will just have to wait?

There is nothing wrong with tough-guy hockey players,as long as they can play and they get a regular shift. Mel Bridgeman for example! Players who are just handed the job seem to be the main problem right now. Cooter,BD Schenn,Read,Mezzo,Timmonen,Giroux,Hartnell,etc. somebody needs to tell these guys this is a body contact sport,60minutes long,and both offense,and defense is required from all the players on the team,every game.

The European players just don't have what the Flyers need!

These guys are afraid of there own shadow! The don't have to fight,the need to play with a little bravado.

It could get worse before it gets better!

Chief is a good candidate! Considering what he has to work with is like pulling a rabbit outof a hat.

Fighting/violence sells tickets or the NHL/NHLPA would they have eliminated it.Clarkie,Homer,Lukko,Snider,Hexie, the whole league likes it (Rinaldo/Davie Hoyda),these kinda guys have/had minimalhockey skills,but could light a powder keg any time having you and me on the edge of our seat every time they were on the ice.Oates had his big boys on the ice(too bad for Downie&Vinnie),Chief left his big guys in the press box(Oh Well). Emery decided to pick up the slack for the damage the Flyers suffered and beat on the Cap's goalie.I'm sure Hexie appreciated it. I think anything that would fire these up is OK! Emery looked pretty in the Devils game,hope he is in net tonight.

Without Jagr Giroux is just another decent hockey player. Jagr is the engine that made that line run! Homer screwed up big time !

With the money these guys make I wouldn't lose any sleep over it!

I think the first good move would be to ship Clarkie out the door. His management skills were preschool,the last decent group he had were Farwell's picks. He couldn't handle Bonnie and Carl and as a parting shot he recommended Homer for GM. From there to here is the mess the team is in now!

Maybe they could get a #2 pick for him????

I think the Schenn brothers have a lock on "Dum&Dumbest! Its time for a good old fashion house cleaning.How much worse could it get? Does Hal Gill have arthritis of the skates?

In the third period of the "Ducks" game it was very obvious these guys have to grow a set. Downie is a talented,high energy guy,who definitely will bring respect back to this club. Hopefully it will rub off on all the ultra softees that pretend to be Flyers.

I for one was sorry to see Downie leave and am really pleased to see him returning. Energy guy and he can put the puck in the net! Good move Homester.

Maybe its time for for Giroux to spend a little time in the press box? The guys are a bunch of wimps! The third period in the "Duck's" game should be a good example. What do you think Clarkie?

Could be there is something seriously wrong here? Maybe Clarkie would care to say a few words?

It seemed when the Ducks got a little more physical the Flyers tanked!

Gus is just one of a long line of undersized,underskilled,players that have the title of"D" man. There hasn't been a "Real" defenseman here since Pronger got hurt.

I'd like to see something from the Oil that included Darnell Nurse. I don't see them play enough to know who good chioce for the Flyers. When I do see them it looks like a group of teenagers,really talented,but very young. Raffl like playing style.

Giroux without Jagr (you guys remember him right?) is like a rudder without a boat!

Maybe it's time to bring up some more Phantoms and let some of the "A" team observe from the Press box. I for one would like to have seen Morin stay for five games.

My personal opinion is one of the Flyer's major weakness are the European players. They just don't seem to have bonafide NHL Moxie. Maybe the KHL would be interested?
