No. I said he has, for me, proven he has what it takes to be a 2C. That doesn't necessarily mean he has put everything together and has immediately proven to be a 2C. Again, for me, he's close. Thats where the whole cusp thing comes into place.

Frost, for me, has proven he has what it takes to be a true 2C in the NHL. Just hope Flyers don't go and do something stupid and trade the guy right on the cusp of breaking through.

With Michkov, Tippett, Foerster, Farabee, Brink we have enough quality wingers with time. I love Konecny, and it has been said several times by alot of you, but TK needs to be flipped before signing a humongous contract. Flip him for something that returns our 1C please. Whether it's a high pick, or someone in the early 20's ready to take the next step. Just get it done. Its a waste and poor asset management to let him stay.

I've never been to Philly and we don't get those kind of rumours over here on this side of the pond regarding the NHL, especially back in the Lindros/Brind'Amour days. So you guys would have a much better idea if there is truth to those rumours or not.

How about Rod in a few years, once we are "done rebuilding". I get he is a former flyer and we prefer somebody from outside. But it seems the Flyers are dead set on having ex flyers around at all times for better or worse. But Rod has done a tremendous job in Carolina, and I'd love to see him take over from Torts/Shaw in 2-3 years time.

I hope Danny and Keith pitch Seeler and Walker to Edmonton for a 1st this year and a 2nd in 25/26 and Broberg. Start the conversation there and possibly go down to a 3rd instead of the 2nd if they play hardball.

True. But doesn't it also set the standard for D-man trades this deadline? Can't believe Stars got Tanev for so little (basing this on my knowledge of Grushnikov being a meh prospect). To me this says that no way is walker going to fetch any more than what Tanev was dealt for. Obviously, as you say this should make Walker more in demand and hopefully that will drive up the price. But Stars did very good here imho.

Me neither. Haven't heard Hanifin to Flyers. Him and Tanev are top dogs on the D for trade bait, next is walker. If Dallas misses out/can't make money work on those two, then I think Walker to Stars is a good bet to happen. Seeler re-ups, fine with Laugthon staying unless we can get a first. But we do need veteran presence to mentor the younglings. True value of Laughton is off the ice and on 3/4th line. That's it. Will be pissed off if Frost gets traded. He's going to have a true breakout season next year I believe. I wouldn't be surprised to see 55-65 points. If they want to trade him, then wait one more year please.
