  1. So far so good. We scored 2 SHG in 25 seconds interval. I do not remember that interval in our achievements before.
  2. Sorry, my mistake . My 2nd time started a thread here. May be TFG can fix this? It should be Bell Centre (French: Centre Bell) Arena. Here is pregame info: https://www.nhl.com/gamecenter/min-vs-mtl/2023/10/17/2023020041 Interesting , that Faber already has +/- +4, which is the most among all players from our team so far.
  3. Are we going to win this game or to get at least 1 point? 3 players already injured: Spurgeon; Boldy and Goligosky. Interesting, who is going to play instead of Boldy in that line? Rossi or Walker, if he will fly to Montreal?
  4. Here is an injury report for our team: https://www.nhl.com/wild/team/injury-report Spurgeon; Boldy and Goligosky . They are not going to play tonight against Canadiens.
  5. Agree. I do not think he did anything for this penalty. Probably, was a mistake.
  6. I liked the most of this game only the 2nd period. Boldy and Rossi placed nice goals. And Duhaime scored nice one too at the end of the game between his legs and between the legs of player in front of him and between the legs of the goalie. Our defense should be better. 7 goals in our net is a lot, but not a surprise to get them from a high scoring team especially from a hot starting player Matthews. He has now 2 hat tricks in a row in 2 games. That loss was expected for me but not with this score. Maroon, Johanssen and Gaudreau were invisible. And sadly Maroon has got an injury too. Hope next game will be better and we will get at least 1 point from it.
  7. I am glad also that Faber has got his 1st goal in our 1st game this season. Congrats to him. Rossi also placed a goal, but sadly it was offside. Hopefully he will keep trying to produce lots of points for the team. We really need his production. Next game will be very interesting too in Toronto against very productive team. Matthews has already hat trick this season. And also we will see Maroon battle against our former player Reaves this Saturday.
  8. Yes. He really deserved that shutout win with 41 saves. Star #1 for this game. Nice start for our team this season especially against such a tough team. Last year it was an embarrassing start for us when we were losing 7-6 goals per game , if I remember , at least 3 games in a row.
  9. Gustavsson played pretty well in a last preseason game against Dallas. He had a shutout in that 4:0 win and was 1st star of the game. 2nd star was Rossi who placed a goal. 3rd star was Zuccarello who had 2 assists in that game. Agree about enormous role of Gustavsson and Fleury for this special season. Our employees at my work have been at preseason games already and mentioned nicely about Faber and Maroon plays. Tomorrow we will start our season on our home ice against the team who reached Stanley Cup finals last season Florida Panthers. I am already excited of this special start.
  10. According to the Wild news, yesterday Kaprizov became an alternate captain for the Wild team in his 4th season in the Wild uniform.
  11. Thank you for reminding me about our prospect Vladislav Firstov (22 y.o.). I just looked for his data. Interesting that he was signed by the Wild, but Khusnutdinov and Yurov not signed yet. Firstov played before for Waterloo Black Hawks 1 season, then for 3 seasons for the University of Connecticut team, then only 9 games in Iowa and now he is in KHL 2nd season in a row is playing for Torpedo team. And doing pretty well there. The last season he had 26 points (11 goals; 15 assists) in 47 regular season games; and 4 points( 3 goals;1 assists) in 10 playoffs games. This season he has already 8 points (4 goals;4 assists) in 16 regular season games so far. And Yurov started well too ( 8 points (3 goals;5 assists) in 15 played games there). But Khusnutdinov doesn't have points yet in 6 played games of this season and already has transferred from one team to the other one. Kind of a slow start for him.
  12. Very good amount, but I hope for more. Last year we placed 246 goals and the year before 310 goals. Hopefully we will repeat 2021-22 regular season again.
  13. Just checked our schedule for this season. We are going to start it next week on pretty tough games against Florida Panthers(on Thursday, Oct.12)at home and against Toronto Maple Leafs (on Saturday, Oct.14) on a road. But against the teams from our Division we are going to start only on Nov.12 (a month later) against Dallas Stars on our home ice. Actually, Oct.12-Nov.12 period will be an intriguing period against difficult teams from other Divisions.
  14. Wild training camp roster reduced to 31: https://www.nhl.com/wild/news/wild-reduces-training-camp-roster-to-31 And here is more about Maroon's future influence on our team. After reading this article ( https://www.nhl.com/wild/news/maroons-stanley-cup-experience ) I wish his presence at the Wild team at least for the next 4-5 seasons. Maybe he will finish his career in our club and will bring lots of his experience to our youngsters? And also, it seems, he is looking like a Hollywood star at the picture attached to this article.
  15. Wild re-signed Mats Zuccarello to 2-year ($8,250,000) contract extension, which goes through the 2025-26 season. https://www.nhl.com/wild/news/minnesota-wild-signs-mats-zuccarello-to-contract-extension As long as he has a nice chemistry with Kaprizov, probably, it is a pretty good deal. He is productive and very smart player to play with. Hopefully, that will help to hold Kaprizov to stay here too. Or maybe that was a main reason? Who knows. Yesterday he had 2 assists on 2 Kaprizov's goals in pre-season game against Colorado. We won that game with a score 4:2.
  16. And also I think we have a better goalie (Gustavsson). Without him it will be more difficult to make playoffs for our team. Probably,so far, he is the best goalie in our Wild history. His NHL stats were outstanding last year. Hopefully, he will show this season similar play as he did last season. And hopefully also, we will see soon in a main club very talented prospect (Walker). Second year in a row he is impressing me with his play, which is very similar to Kaprizov's. His more recent records of the last week 5 goals, 1 hat trick, and 2 assists (7 points in 3 games). And Rossi maybe will start producing and will play smarter for the big club too. Entire summer he had a special individual training with coaches to prepare him for this season which I had never seen in our club. I also believe that our 2nd line Boldy-EEK-Johansson will make a solid impact in our production. All players of that line are very talented and very experienced.
  17. I am more optimistic for this season results. We will make playoffs and will pass the 1st round. Dallas is a beatable team. We should pass the 1st round of the playoffs this season if we hadn't EEK injury, and control better Suter. Referees were not as good too, especially against Foligno, penalizing him for nothing multiple times.
  18. Interesting, if Bedard will play for Chicago team in both pre-season games against us?
  19. Sammy Walker is shining so far. Smart player. He had a chance to repeat yesterday a hat trick again as he did against Chicago team during the Kurvers Prospects Showcase Tournament the week before. Hopefully we will see his play more. Next game is going to start at 7 p.m. tomorrow against Dallas team.
  20. Here is more info regarding our training camp and pre-season schedule, which is going to start very soon (on Sunday, September 24th) at Colorado. https://www.nhl.com/wild/news/minnesota-wild-opens-training-camp-september-21-at-tria-rink https://www.nhl.com/wild/news/wild-camp-day-1
  21. I am interested in this season too, because I think, it is going to be intriguing by using more youngsters as well as more tough players like Maroon; Khaira in addition to Foligno.
  22. Here is a review of 2 games , which we had the last week at Tom Kurvers Prospects Showcase: against St.Louis (score was 1:5) https://www.nhl.com/wild/news/tk-showcase-recap-game-1 and against Chicago (score was 7:4) https://www.nhl.com/wild/news/tk-showcase-recap-game-2 The most productive in 2 games, in my opinion, was Sammy Walker who had 13 shots on goal ( 5 in the game#1 and 8 in game#2 ; hat trick and 1 assist).
