Plus the fact that he would trade for the dumbest, slowest, laziest car battery in the league.
His trade of Cam Barker for Nick Leddy plus Kim Johnsson comes to mind.

Iowa Wild swept by Rockford. Army and assistants fired.
Army was garbage and he couldn't develop quality prospects and instead benched them and let them walk.

I honestly hope they leave him down there until he is ready rather than trying to hurry him along because the owner has ants in his pants to make the playoffs...
Hopefully MAF gets his game back together so the owner doesn't get to make that hurried decision for the organization.

Dumba and Greenway will be elsewhere next season
Both have underperformed this season and have sadly made themselves expendable. Was hoping greenway would develop into a power forward like Tuch but he has regressed significantly.

2nd game in a row.
Dumba is damaged goods...they should be thankful to trade him for a used puck bag these days.

Kaprizov is worth every penny and the MN Wild ought to maximize his potential and find him a quality center. The MN Wild and their fans don't need to end up like this again after this season.

That old fart Fleury should never have been re-signed after last years playoffs. He sucked then and he still sucks now. We are seeing glimpses of what las vegas and Chicago saw that Fleury was at the end of his career. He is washed up and he blows more than the windy city...

This one definitely felt like I was watching a game from 1985 again. Fleury is just hilarious to watch. 3.5 mil AAV? For that?
He's making Martin Jones look like a goaltender that actually belongs in the NHL...
They gave Fleury a 2 year contract with a nmc so I see another ripe buyout for billy g's buddy on the horizon...

The flower sure looks more like a rosebud this year...and getting rid of Fiala because they have no money and then extending Marc Andre Fluery for 2 years at 3.5 million per with a NMC after last years awful showing in the playoffs are sure looking to be two garbage decisions by billy g.

Right here is why I think it’s time to move on from Evanson. Has he ever taken responsibility with the dismal special teams?
Maybe he should sit down with Mike Yeo in the off season and go back and watch the video on that to find the solution.

Josh Harding is the second one, but it was unfortunately for another reason...
I think he kicked a wall too which ended his last season before his medical diagnosis became public...

The list of prospects who have been ready and not had the chance to play as #1 goalie is a pretty short one. Kuemper, anyone else? In 15 years. That's a trend not a coincidence.
I don't know why but the Wild has always had a thing for 30+ goalies, no matter what they performances are.Khudobin as well

Anyone have any details on Nick B’s injury? Sounded freakish…..
It sounded pretty stupid as Russo said that Zuccarello slashed Nick B towards the end of the scrimmage.

I guess now it's about can Guerin find someone interested in Rask, if Wild pays part of his salary.
Maybe Guerin can package Rask with Dumba and trade them for a used puck bag and a wooden hockey stick?

There's got to be a trade in the works to ship Dumba out of Minnesota, eh?
That same trade that has been in the works for 3 years... I don't think that anybody else wants to take the high risk dumba with the minimal chance for the upside reward. Mine as well keep him and make dumba a captain while we are at it...

I'm really disappointed that the NHLPA dropped the ball on the Kaprizov situation.

Much ado about nothing. Let's hope Mayhew, who has actually achieved something, is able to use his 1st line tryout to his advantage.
He had a nice break into the zone that led to stall's first goal in quite a while

So who gets moved off the top six?
Fiala (9g, 19a), Parise (19g, 13a), Zucker (14g, 14a) or Zuccarello (13g, 15a)? Mayhew doesn't play center, so it has to be one of these guys...
Right now the Wild have about a 25% chance of making the Playoffs. If things continue to deteriorate, I'd say once the trade deadline passes Mayhew may see some time up here when teams can expand their rosters. But I still wouldn't bet on seeing Mayhew playing on one of the top lines...
Well fiala is the only one that you listed that has a positive plus minus so I guess any of them. Mayhew has the potential to help the wild improve (if their goal is to make the playoffs).

Pospisil's hit on Dunn 11/4/24
in Around the NHL
Posted
100% he turned into the play and the hit became shoulder on shoulder not from behind. There is no way the defenceman didn't see the opposition skating towards him before he turned and then again in the reflection in the glass. Yet he still turned into it which is incredibly stupid.
