accept tippett and forester, i think everyone is on the block, we need to get rid of the big contracts and alot of cap space to get this team back into contention, . that's why the redwings are playing well, they have a ton of cap space to sign players, we dont have much and we are stuck with an ahl squad on our back end, that's why we are taking a step back, not enough depth.

i think trading tk makes sense because of needing contract extension and we have alot of right wingers in the system, frost has to go as well, we need players playing on their elcs, so we can get elite talent especially if we have to buy which more likely that option because of the rigged lottery system.

do you understand anything that drafting anyone isnt going to help this team right now because they need time to develop? this is why this management isnt forcing young players on the roster because they are not ready or they are not good. for some reason, you cant let go of the prospect obsession hoarding and think that it will make a cup contender and that the they have been doing the same crap for decades, what about changing the philosophy and adding players that can play now and maybe this team can finally win a cup like what is so wrong about doing it this way instead of doing it the same way for decades of prospect hoarding and it hasnt worked?

sabres tanked no playoffs for a decade, oilers tanked for almost 20 years no cups, maple leafs have two number overall no cups, it doesnt work for them, what makes you think it will work for us?

they have to go after goalie in the offseason, i mean they have to get an upgrade because we lost hart and we have no clue on how our goalie prospects are going to pan out and they probably arent ready for a couple of years, maybe an ullmark, swayman? i dont know.

i dont care what anyone says frost has to be moved, he's terrible, makes the same mistakes over and over again, he's not going to be a future center on this roster, he's getting moved this summer.

we have to get bigger at the forwards position, there's too many small forwards that's why matthews is able to get by us so easy.

i really wish tank washed fans would just playoff hockey and ask themselves why doesnt great offenses win Stanley cups? even briere and jones are the ones that have been through playoffs and having success all the time, they know for the fact that great offenses dont win championships otherwise briere wouldnt have hired torts.

i think fans have to face reality of the fact that the nhl has been against us for a long time and no matter what we do, we wont get a franchise superstar through the draft i believe michy will be but when it comes to first overall picks it's not going to happen because they wont let us have it, the only possible way is that we get one through fa or trades, there's no other way.

tampa is outplaying us, we just dont have enough talent right now, i mean it would be great to make the playoffs but we are far away from a cup team, tippett is missed big time.

love it and im glad it's going in the right direction, playoffs or no playoffs because we are building a foundation of high pick players and it's only going to get better when we add more either from the draft or trades. this team will be a contender very soon.

i think the other thing is they want to keep the team together and wait for teams around us to get worse like some teams in our division are taking steps back and it's working in our favor. i think if they are players in our division want to come here i believe that's what they are planning, that's a great advantage because not only those teams will get worse, we will have a better chance of making the playoffs and becoming a contender, that's why the brass is urging patience so we can build the team the right way and wait for teams in our division to get worse and get their players to make the playoffs and get over the hump.

and there's no top 5 players on this team like at some point you have to find gems in the late first round, it's only way you are going to win a championship and we have a ton of that on this roster, not saying we are winning a cup this year, just saying that when cutter and michy, we are going to be deeper and heck we could be a contender in a few years. thing is, the reason why we are getting better is because we didnt trade away our first round players for trash and by keeping them on this roster we have gotten so much deeper and better. alot of bad teams are so quick on dumping their first round picks like they are candy. im glad we didnt do that. we have to be patient and eventually we will win a cup.

fact is i'll be happy when this team wins cup, for some reason you wont be.

if no one got hurt by competing, we could have won the cup at least 3 times in 2000, 2004, 2010 and yet you would rather throw in white towel and be the sens, sabres, oilers of garbarge and never make the playoffs again, how are you going to be patient and happy by doing this way? especially if we dont make the playoffs again? your problem is you cant accept losing in the playoffs and building from it, you want playoffs and championships the same year, it doesnt work like that. you dont want to understand how hard it is to win in the playoffs and get the right matchups and everyone staying healthy, i get that you want to win a cup, everyone on here does but tanking is not the way. you need to win and attract talent that can get you over the hump, you cant just draft your way to a cup, it's impossible, oilers, sabres, sens, what impact players have they attracted that's gotten them over hump? we got good players on this roster without tanking and we can attract more talent, if you just be patient and stop acting like winning the worst ever because if you are going to throw it all away and draft the second coming of nolan patrick, you are asking for more misery and nothing will come out of it accept more losing seasons and no playoffs, you are telling me you are going to happy with that? you think sabres, sens, and oilers are happy where they are at?

i think that's the identity this team has been missing for a long time, play good defensive hockey because that's what we are built.

im just asking a simple question, you cant handle a team winning one stanley cup, it has be 5 cups in row like the islanders? simple yes or no?

you cant tell players to lose, they want to win which you cant accept. you act like young defenseman are going to become superstars overnight and you dont know how good they are going to be, example buffalo, heck you might draft another provy type of player if we were really bad, i would rather trade for one, who? i dont know, trust the fo because if you cant trust anyone, i dont know why you are rooting for this team?

heck look at the canucks, they dont have mcdavid on their roster, they are playing like a team, getting good goaltending because of that they are winning games because they are buying in and with the flyers there are still some bad players on this team, not surprising really, i have alot of confidence in torts in turning this team back into a contender. it's getting rid of the players that wont buy in.
