  2. Here's the list PHILADELPHIASean Couturier (F)Valtteri Filppula (F)Claude Giroux (F)Scott Laughton (F)Brayden Schenn (F)Wayne Simmonds (F)Jakub Voracek (F)Shayne Gostisbehere (D)Radko Gudas (D)Brandon Manning (D)Anthony Stolarz (G)
  3. http://www.tsn.ca/i-d-like-to-close-this-chapter-with-you-beside-me-1.608122 This is a link to his whole speech. 8 minutes. A really good speech. Hope you enjoy.
  4. McDavid should win the Western ROY and Gostisbehere should win Eastern ROY. Pannarin shouldn't qualify in my opinion. You can't compare numbers when they don't have the opportunity to play the same schedules. The league could easily double up the trophy winners. Just my two cents.
  5. Move Bellemare to Coots line and White with VV and Rinaldo . VLC and his lower body injury may need help with his popcorn. I always thought Umberger need to be riding shotgun with VLC. White can also replace Umberger killing penalties as well. Also this makes it a more tougher team to play against.
  6. Any info if the Flyers are in on this guy? It's from TSN McKenzie: And there's another free agent we should keep our eye on who most people haven't heard of: a 22-year-old Czech by the name of Jiri Sekac. He went through the NHL Drafts and never got picked up. He was once cut by the Peterborough Petes but he had a strong year in the KHL playing for the Prague team. Right now he has more than a dozen firm offers on a max entry-level deal for two years. He's expected over the next couple of days to make up his mind as to which team. This is a guy who is in great demand. He's a 6'2, 190 pound le
  7. The wife and I were there. Lots of people commenting on the number of Flyer fans in the crowd. Third period was a lot of fun. I think the Pearl Street Grill had more orange than any other color. Glad they pulled the win. Have walked out of there too many times on the wrong end.
  8. Why can't G play his off wing like Jake does and have LC in between them. Hartnell with Schenn and Simmonds could be a tough line to play against, possibly weak in their own zone though. I've always thought Read helped Coot's game. Not sure who plays with them but I'd like a more offensive threat than Gagne. Maybe even Rinaldo if he continues to impress.
  9. they take MacKinnon or trade down to 2nd, only to allow the Avalanche the chance to take Jones #1.
  10. What happens with the draft if there is no season?
  11. I enjoy reading more than I post, so I'd like to know what some of you guys/gals think would have happened if Hossa was able to duck under Torri and had Torri possibly fly into the boards and been badly injured? Who's at fault?
  12. They will be the third team in the East to clinch. I think we'd all be happy with that. Expecting and hopeful for a number 1 seed in the near future. The NHL sould qualify the true top 8. These third seeds would drop to 6/7 where they truly should be. Much more fair. It's BS the way they have it now.
  13. I think JVR fits in with Giroux and Hartnell. Jager moves onto a line with Briere and Voracek. Schenn likes playing with Simmonds. Talbot brings experience to those two. That leaves Couts and Read (PK partners) and any of the #12 forwards that they interchange.
  14. I think if they ask Briere if he'd like to be moved to a contender, he replys "I want to win as a Flyer". And if they do ask and he does say yes, what does that do to Couts? Why take the chance?
