  1. Of course they have teeth. How could they be that fat otherwise?
  2. These girls are tough. I feel bad for their boyfriends. uh errrrrr... nevermind.
  3. I didn't mind it. So if I'm not the "someone else" there's 4 people who didn't mind it.
  4. Holmgren is ALWAYS wasting his sixth round picks.
  5. What amazed me is that he let the team come into the season basically out of shape. Pretty much any style benefits from the team being in tip-top shape, but certainly a run and gun. I never thought Lavi was a great tactician but I did think he was a ball-buster and was shocked at how out of shape the team looked in the beginning of the season.
  6. I'm in agreement. I've been somewhat impressed with him this year. I think his skating has progressed and what he lacks in speed he makes up for in positioning and intelligent play. Certainly a player we'd regret giving up on. I think he's pressing and the more he accepts his defensive role, his offensive production will increase.
  7. on 24 shots. The Oklahoma City Barons must be blocking too many shots.
  8. Funny to see the comments from Colorado. Apparently Homer won this trade (at least according to them). http://www.denverpost.com/avalanche/ci_24426915/avs-trade-steve-downie-philadelphia-maxime-talbot
  9. I think it's mostly one thing: injuries He's had too many concussions and too many wrist surgeries. The physical aspect of his game is non-existent. The days of him drilling a guy into the boards and stealing the puck are a memory. The days of him dekeing a player and driving aggressively to the net seem to be done. Flat out - I think he's afraid of getting hurt again. It also doesn't help that he had an injury in the off-season and pre-season, and I bet his hand still isn't 100%. He looks out of shape and almost confused on the ice. No confidence. It's painful to watch him play.
  10. Nothwithstanding the fact that he can actually stop the puck, I'm just excited that we have a goalie who can actually handle it (very well actually).
  11. To me that translates to: Claude Giroux isn't playing like the Claude Giroux of two years ago. **** we just spent a lot of money on him.
