  1. Vinny Lecavalier is also prepared to make his Flyers debut. This is an upgrade over Briere in my opinion because he’s slightly younger and more skilled.

    Under statement of the year!

Hartnell was very disappointed in his performance last year. He broke his foot 3 games in, missed 16 games and wasn’t in shape. He’s spent all summer training for this season. "He's in the best shape of his life. His body fat is 7 percent lower than it's ever been.” said Holmgren. Hartnell also needs to live up to the 37 goal performance he had in 2011/12

If this is even close to the truth, Hartnell might just win some fans back that he lost over the last year plus.

  2. What in the world are these player thinking.

I often question the amount of money and pro-sports player makes. But I can't blame the players for trying to get as much money as possible during their playing days. It's not like you would donate all of the money after you hit the lottery and say "well it's for charity."

Someone is going to take that money if it's offered. Might as well be you, right?

    By the way. Welcome

  3. I think of it location based. I understand trying to keep the Flyers/Pens together which makes sense. But the Caps should stay in the Southeast and the Flyers in the Atlantic just based on location. This is another problem from trying to create southern teams. There shouldn't be a teams in Florida and probably not even in Carolina.

The bottom 10 in attendance: Phoenix, Islanders, Stars, Ducks, Blue Jackets, Atlanta, Devils, Avs, Panthers, Wild, Panthers (Tampa is 13th)

6 southern teams out of 10. (Islanders, Devils and CBJ all have their own problems..)

In the end there should be 2 conferences of 14 with 2 divisions of 7 in each.

As been said before, contraction probably won't happen.

  4. I think you are going to have more luck finding western conference teams that don't like the Canucks vs eastern conference.

My opinion is what is there to hate against? It's not like they are winning cup after cup ;) They aren't rival and so on.

There's always going to be hate from the Canuck rivals, especially in the west.

I personally am to busy hating the Pens, Caps, Rangers, Bruins.......
