  1. It would have been different, for sure. They weren't winning Game 7, in Boston Garden.
  2. The end of the second period of this game, would be a great time for our PP% clicking at 12%, to wake up and get one. As I speak, TK scores! 1-0, Flyguys!
  3. The first ten minutes of the game...without a shot. Not good. Shuffle the forward lines, Torts.
  4. Congrats to Wayne! It might be cliche but he truly worked hard every game.... and played good, skilled, physical hockey, in all three zones.
  5. Those Leave offensive stars still don't know what it's like, to win a Cup. Oh, that's right...neither do the Flyers. Carry on.
  6. The post gets the number one star of the night. Everybody thought the post was a stiff. Not me. Bertuzzi makes it a one goal game. They got momentum from their PK. Now the Flyers are getting sloppy and careless, and the Leaves have a chance to tie the game. Damn. Stay out of the box!
  7. Poehling great hustle to get the puck out of the zone, or the Leaves would have had a great chance. The Flyers need to slow the pace down, a bit.
  8. It is not unrealistic to think they could go 11-6 or better, IMHO. If they do that, they should remain in a favorable spot. They NEED to get the power play going.. and keep it rolling, if they have any chance of doing that against these opponents, though. The schedule makers did the Flyers no favors, down the stretch with back to backs, and tough opponents.
  9. I'm fine with them passing on Raanta. Maybe it's just me, but he seems to get injured a lot. I wanted a veteran backup goalie at the deadline, just not him.
  10. Looking at Krug's play this year, and I realize the Blues not being great defensively or scoring a lot offensively, isn't all on him...but a -27 is in fact, that. The Flyers not trading Sanheim for him, was the right decision.
  11. So he can gain Flyers alumni points, and have his jersey retired, of course.
  12. A pretty good deadline. We traded little, and got back veteran leadership and some picks. I didn't really go in thinking we would make a blockbuster trade. Hopefully, Briere is able to clear out some cap room and sign a talented player or two, in the offseason. I'm a little disappointed we didn't pickup a backup goalie, but that's fine. If this team wins one playoff round, they've had a hell of a year. The team isn't there yet. The fact that we're even talking about the playoffs, with this very young roster, is amazing IMO.
  13. Gurianov has a lot of skill around the net and has a very good shot, and Allison has never shown the Flyers enough to prove to them that he's an NHLer. So, it's a good deal for the Flyers. Maybe he sticks around and helps Michkov, when he hopefully makes his debut, in 2026. It's a good "prove it" deal, for Gurianov.
  14. To me, it's insurance...a cheap veteran Cup winning defenseman, who is willing and able to do a lot of things Seeler does, in case he gets hurt. Good move, and they only gave up a 4th round pick, for a 35 year old.
  15. I told you guys that somewhere, somehow, the Flyer ol’ boy network, still has some control.
  16. I think Danny B comes away today with another pick, a backup goalie, another d man (Chychrun) and MAYBE a little good scoring depth. If they can do that today, I'll be happy. I think Laughton gets traded to the Leafs, for a 1st.
  17. If they feel like Chychrun can help the power play (for one thing), they should pay the first rounder and a prospect, which is likely what it's going to take to get him.
