  1. The poster was talking about Bryz/Bobs combo.
  2. I'll take a stab at this too since I've seen most of the games this year. The Bobby Clarke Trophy, Most Valuable Player.---Claude Giroux The Barry Ashbee Trophy for best defenseman. --- Coburn The Pelle Lindbergh Memorial Trophy to most improved player. ---Hartnell The Yannick Dupre Class Guy Memorial Award. ---Jagr The Gene Hart Memorial Trophy. ---Simmonds

The HERO has let me down so many times in the playoffs by his inopportune 75' let-ins that even Leighton might have been able to stop. Yes, the GOAT is in a funk now but let's see how he does in the playoffs before we let him have it with the BOOs, if warranted.. Just my 2 cents.
  4. Just a general thought about whether the Flyers are finished with trades this year. Holmgren isn't finished, I see another D coming our way and Carle going the other way in that deal or another. I think the Flyers like Carle but not at the $$ he will command. Carle's a goner for sure. Maybe Schenn is still coming our way.
  5. Not to mention our horrendous record during the day games, playoffs included.
  6. JVR, Carle and Kalinski for Nash? JVR for Luke Schenn? Carle for stock pile some draft picks? All we know for sure is something else is happenning and soon.
  7. I believe that both Richards and Carter were knocked off their high-horse after being traded. In Philly, they were both hailed as the second coming and were going to lead them to the Cup. I believe the attitude that they displayed in Philly is gone and even if reunited in LA, will be a non-factor. Carter is a above average player but in all honesty, never displayed that clutch performance in the playoffs. Richards, as good as he is, was given the captaincy way too soon which contributed to his demise in Philly.
  8. Even though Carle says he wants to stay with the Flyers, I believe that he has to go with the market value of defensemen of his caliber (overpaid of course.) And, with Bryz's contract and the uncertainty of Pronger, it would be in the best interest of the Flyers to trade Carle for some young assets. I really don't think the Flyers will be able to afford what Carle will demand on the free-agent market. Stock up for next year!!
