  1. I hope it is the opposite and the Flyers are so totally embarrassed and demoralized they come out and take it to the Pens in game 5. Of course if our goaltending continues as it is........
  2. @terp He could go play with Carter & Richards out in LA (the home of problem children)...although I wouldn't wish that on LA.
  3. Maybe they're doing it to torture us Or..they're afraid of what everyone will say when the decision comes down
  4. Washington Twp High School Gloucester County NJ Class of '78
  5. Go into the playoff with momentum and then stick it to the Pens!
  6. @aziz I think the reason that Lavi got so wound up is all the BS that was going on during the game, the uncalled slashes, Malkin pounding on G's head, the too many men that wasn't called until the Penguins starting bitching about it. The culmination of the entire game is probably what set him off, I know it did me.
  7. I've been wondering if he would have been saying the same things if it was a Pissburgh radio station interview. I am always suspicious when those national announcers have complimentary things to say about the Flyers. They all seem to love to bash us.
  8. I read somewhere (maybe a Pissburgh story) that Engelland (sp) 'won' the fight. Amazing how people see what they want to see. Gotta give him props, he didn't back down at all!!!!
  9. @Irishjim I think somebody need to knock Vitale out of the line up. I am still so pissed I can't see straight because of all that happened at the end of the game, especially the comments from the Pens afterwards. This **** has to stop and the league better do something about it. That was a national game and everyone sees all that the Pens get away with. It's embarassing to the league and the sport.
  10. Why don't they have a chance to win against Pens or Rags? It may be tough but I think anything is possible! If we have that defeatist attitude, why bother playing? I think we need to be hopeful/positive and anything we do in the playoffs is a positive (except a sweep in the first round).
  11. @flyercanuck I agree 100%. He is so exciting to watch. I think he will develop into one hell of a player (almost there now).
  12. per CSNPhilly The Flyers will likely have some reinforcements returning to their lineup against the Panthers, as Pavel Kubina, Andreas Lilja and Max Talbot are expected to play. I'm excited to see Kubina and Talbot should be back tonight.
  13. Just read it this morning.... Bryzgalov's streak does not rank in the Top 5 in league history. It is more than a complete game away from former Flyer Brian Boucher's modern-day NHL record of 332:01, set in 2003-04 with the Phoenix Coyotes. Ottawa's Alex Connell holds the NHL's all-time record of 461:29, a 1927-28 run that probably never will be broken.
  14. I agree! He is one of my favorite Flyers and I love his sense of humor in his interviews!!! Great guy to have on a team and a hell of a role model for the youngsters.
  15. http://www.csnphilly...8708&feedID=704 I'm excited to see this! Can only help!
  16. PLUS - they're coming home and now he has to play at the WFC. I wonder what that'll bring
  17. I agree Canoli! I have been a huge fan of Bob and his attitude for a long time and hope that he will continue his progress here as a Flyer. I think he has it in him to be great someday!!!!!
  18. Is it possible they're looking past today to the Rangers? It doesn't appear their heads are in the game much!
