I thought he played fairly good in defense side, better then Zherdev, but there is no offense, for the guy had promised a lot as forward. He can be a good candidate for trade for defenseman.

Carle is known for doing dump passes. He plays better with Pronger. When NJ scored he had open ice, but did pass where were two NJ players. Also I think it's something to do with forwards, they don't take a right position to make D easy job. And of course Flyers is completely lost blue line in PP. That problem came right after Richards is gone. He was always on right side and time. May be they should try to use forward on blue line. Pronger is not answer too, because he is slow, he skates behind blue line too far.

Yes it's not due the an injury, but could be due slow reaction or sense as hockey player. It might never happened 5 years ago

He is getting older and injuries are happening more frequently, so it's not a good indication for long career as hockey player. But he got a huge long contract, and it can be big problem soon enough then anyone thought. I was not trill about that trade 2 years ago, as many people. He is slow, anytime he is back from injures and it takes him like 5-10 games to get in the shape, but then injury again. I'm not saying trade him now, but may be at trade deadline to team is looking to win a cup, to get pick and sign/ trade for player like Shea Weber. Its way out I see.

It's looked like historically Flyers are bad in face off for at least last 5-6 years, I remember. They need a face off coach.

I think Sean Couturier should play at least 2nd or 3rd line all the time. He is really strong on puck near boards. it helps to keep puck in the offensive zone. In the head, Simmonds didn't impress at all for last 4-5 games.

Briere is injured. It's bad, he is monster as he is playing against Sabres.
