Hi man, I glad to see you here. I have been busy with travel soccer and hockey. Soccer is done. But hockey is continue, I have been in Philly area like 4 times already, NJ, NE Phila, Valley Forge x2 times. My son team plays AHF and CBHL, so AHF is most Phila and NJ teams. So I have been around hockey so much, in week we are going to Charleston SC. Well it's true, my thinking is Flyers are in bad situation, so taking well good promising player is might a good idea, he will not play first year anyway, but later year or two, they will be able bring him to Flyers, while collecting more draft players. Remember Malkin, he was allowed to play in USA, but now looking at this, Pitt had balls to do this draft. But other save picks might be next Nolan Patrick. Still bitter to me.

More likely Russian will not be taken due the war and sanctions, so that will move other players up. Flyers can try to take russian, than work with State department to bring him here to play.

Will anytime get better ? That is import question. Looking at standing Flyers is still trying collect some points and that is setting them to as 7th round pick, that is not great at all. That is going last several years until be lucky draft/trade. Just look at a very talent team like Edmonton - still being a wild card team. That is just one example, so with current Flyers management can be last for long time, before Flyers can even smell playoff game. Sad that is really bad feeling

I mean, listen since Philly inquire time to today is like 20 years plus, and I have seen a lot, but i have not seen when a NHL defenseman could not keep a puck at blue line or Flyers team could not make 3 complete passes on PP!!!? I think that is peak of the worse ever players in Flyers uniform. Players should be shame to wear NHL jersey, they should all quit now. Flyers set record on 01/25/2022 lost last 10 games (know some in OT), but worse record among all NHL team for last 10 games.

sami, it's just frustrating to watch him every year as he does not ready to play 80 games per season but he has lots time to use twitter with his wife . I don't care his personal life as I'm somehow pay his salary with NHL subscription . he needs put aside his child and wife unless he can go back to family and take care them but away from Flyers organization. Giroux is still with Flyers and saga will continue. First 10 games good, next 15 lost..90%.... miss playoffs again. As this guy can't play a full season good. I would send him for bunch picks and considerations just to get rid of him. So young guys can play forever and find to way win games.

Statistics meant nothing. As I'm living in DC area I watch some Caps games, and some those players I never heard but they are looked great in Caps. Just one name Wilson,, avg player but look like "Giroux'' playing with top lines !. Just saying. Giroux is same as John Tavares. John Tavares is good as Giroux, but Isle were suck with him all there time . Giroux or John Tavares can be elite players but in these teams. John Tavares decided to see Toronto, and it's good fo him, as with Mattews he can look a d big help.

I'm serious since 2013 as he become captian this team either not qualify for playoffs or lost in first round which is same as not qualify. the guy is working hard enough to be an elite player with such salary . I'm still wonder how is 55 - 60 point guy got 7 mil per year ! OV makes 9.5 per year ! But OV scores 50 + goals every year!. NHL goes nuts with salary. They should not do a cap space but other way around , grading per point match to salary. That will eliminate potentially future bad contracts. When guy got waived and everyone end up with loss. So next in line for contract Nolan Patrick and Travis Konecny they got 72 and 82 points respective, so they will get 9 mil !? they will make same as OV? WOW .

I wonder if Flyers will move Giorux for cap space and get young prospect ?
