The 19th International Maccabiah Games will be taking place July, 2013 in Israel. • 7000 athletes • 60 countries • 35 sports • World’s third largest international sporting competition The US Men’s National Masters Ice Hockey Team is looking for players to join Team USA. Tryouts are ongoing and the next opportunity will be held March, 2013 in Philadelphia. You must be Jewish, American and 40 or over as of December 31, 2013. Currently, most of the Masters team’s slots have been selected but there are a few left. Some college hockey experience is expected along with currently playing on a team (e.g. adult hockey league). This is highly competitive international hockey. Team Canada’s open team will be coached by former NHL Coach Mike Keenan and the Canada Masters team will be led by NHL coaching legend Jacques Demers.
