I would have to say I wouldn't want the LA kings because it looks like they might do the same thing. Be mediocre in the regular season then monster out in the playoffs and I don't want to e the first victims of that outburst. But at the same time they might have some defending champions rust in them. Never know.

As an American i am ashamed that we cant even match up to half of the scary, intimidating, unbelievable, loud, atmosphere that the Europeans (Mainly in Eastern Europe and Scandanavia) the first 2 minutes is North American Atmosphere, while the rest is Europe! take a look!

i agree. Pulling the goalie makes it easier for the opponent to score.. yeah u get some extra muscle.. but by 1 guy.. its not gonna make that much of a difference...You just put yourself at a bigger disadvantage!

If this was teams i would of said the current best rivalry would be Phili vs Pittsburgh. Considering that one is the most competitive one to date!

Yes the season is very young, yes some teams may have not shifted into gear yet, but judging by pre season development (and for damn sure we have had alot of time for that?) Recent preformances, team attitudes? fans attitudes? talent in the squad? Whos going back into the playoffs, whos out of the playoffs? I personally dont know Hockey well enough to have my own opinion despite me keeping up with the game moderately for the past 5 years (Last season was the first season i paid full on attention) So tell me people. Is anyone replacing anyone or will we have alot of last years 16?

Suburbs of Toronto?.. are the people there that fed up with the leafs? There faith being pushed off the edge.. but i gotta be honest, a Local Derby or "Battle of Toronto" would be too mouthwatering of a match i honestly think that would become one of the biggest rivalries in the entire NHL over time despite being new. Hatred would fuel over loyalty commitment and glory. Then comes the battle to be Toronto's top dog. Thats what the Neutrals want! LET IT BE! but if it wont be in Toronto im hoping a franchise would be created in my home state of Lousiana despite me supporting the Red wings i would support the Lousiana team as a second team, sounds weird but home state pride takes you far. It was horrible.. Had to hear Football and Basketball geeks blabber all day and i had nothing! Soccer is my first sport with Hockey being a close second, so if i dont know some stuff please forgive me guys im a hockey newbie in general. But Regardless Hockey is the second best sport in the world in my opinion and the best out of all North American Sports!
