Buffalo Rick Posted July 8, 2021 Share Posted July 8, 2021 I remember Rene Robert, who sadly passed away Tuesday, when he played in Rochester before becoming part of the French Connection, easily the best line in Sabres history. He made an immediate impact. He had a better wrist shot than Perrault or Martin and like Gilbert he could skate like the wind. Rene along with Perrault are my two favorite players of all time.
