AbelMorpheus Posted November 22, 2011 Share Posted November 22, 2011 It really blows my mind that the NHL didn't have a plan in mind when they moved Atlanta to Winnipeg. Don't get me wrong, I think Manitoba is much more deserving of an NHL franchise than Georgia , but are you gonna tell me that Bettman couldn't have requested an emergency Owner/General manager meeting in the summer to ask either Columbus, Nashville or even Detroit to temporarily move to the east. Given some kind of monetary compensation or reduction for the following season I think that one of them would have bit.
