Wins is all that matters making the playoffs is all that matters...and most importantly any season that doesn't end in a Cup win will be a disappointment.

Rome wasn't built in a day and neither is a Cup winner.

I just want to see a determined, focused group on the ice. That would improve things dramatically from last year.

A full camp should help - but it should also likely help the competition.

I agree on the addition by subtraction of Voracek. Having some more shoot first mentality will be nice to see.

I am actually somewhat excited about this team for the first time in half a decade. Lots of questions - looking forward to getting some answers.

Too soon? I'm just really excited to see how this all plays out this year.   When does camp even start? I know I have a pre-season game in Boston on the 30th so gotta be soonish.   I must say, even though I go into every season with a "glass half full" mind frame (and it usually only takes weeks for said glass to be knocked over by the Flyers), My glass is like 3/4 full this year! Here's why! (for what's its worth...I'm no expert!)   1) Carter Hart: Yup, this is the

I'm very optimistic about this team. So much so I joined a discussion forum (Hi) . Amazing how beautifully they redid the D (which was the biggest problem imo) and now this team is so much more balanced than it was. I definitely think this is a playoff team, and Hart should be much better behind this D too. It will be a good year.

Never too early I guess. Training camp should be starting next week I would think.   Carter Hart should rebound this year. Camp may help him more than anyone. So too should the addition of Ellis. Time will tell whether Ristolainen or Yandle actually help him. Yandle I doubt. Risto should at least make it more difficult to stand in front of him. I'll assume Jones will give us an .896 save percentage. I can't believe that's the best Fletcher could come up with.    Ellis was a n

I think the Flyers win a lot of 3-2 type games this season. We are most likely a playoff team, if healthy. Hart bouncing back is the key to the whole thing. The defense will be much better, not entirely sure about the offense, but they weren't that good last season. I think that depends on TK and Farabee. To borrow a line from Hotel California "I was thinkin' to myself, this could be heaven or this could be hell". This sums up the 2021-22 Flyers.

I know it was built in two years.

It is where the Flyers got their motto...

"Two years away from being two years away...

Sorry, thought Yandle won a cup early on....

He did get the finals with the Rangers.

So that does count for something.

He has 37 points in 58 career playoff games.

So experience is key.

After they beat the Flyers 4-3 in the first round.

It was a good sign.

And Emery was finally healthy for the Flyers in the playoffs but it was the wrong year.

In fact sad for the Flyers. I expect that to change this coming season.

Dear Gawd why did you have to type that?? You know Chuckles reads here to get the scoop.

And Rick's free gambling tips of course.

No way the Ducks let the sniper go again they locked him up to a multi year deal. Geniuses!!!!!

But on the point tip maybe Chuck puts a package of Braun, Yandle, Brassard and Thompson plus a 7th for Kirill Kaprizov....you can't prove he isn't.

I could certainly see that happening if they'll let him manage two teams at once.

Veteran influences is only going to help Provie become a better defenseman and not feel like he has to do it all by himself.
