Alexandron
Camp is going to start tomorrow at 9:00 a.m. with a group A. It is a nice group where included Kaprizov; EEK; Zuccarello; Lodnia; Novak; Shaw; Goligoski, but for me the most interest is presenting the group C. In that group we can see Fiala; Boldy; Rossi; Dumba; Brodin; Sturm; Lambos; Gordeev; Kahkonen; Kozlowski who all are having lots of potential power.

Alexandron
Day #1 Kaprizov personal training because he needed to take one more Covid test. From my understanding he was vaccinated recently in Florida.
Alexandron
According to Russo twit: Lines to start #mnwild camp basically are Kaprizov-Eriksson Ek-Zuccarello Greenway-Hartman-Foligno Gaudreau-Rask-Fiala Duhaime-Sturm-Bjugstad Rau-Rossi-Boldy I think this way will be more interesting tryouts during the camp: Kaprizov- Eriksson Ek - Zuccarello; Boldy - Rossi - Fiala; Greenway - Hartman - Foligno; Rask - Sturm- Bjugstad; Duhaime/ or Novak - Rau- Gaudreau; Beckman- Giroux- Dewar/or Lodnia

Alexandron
Our 1st pre-season game we lost tonight with a score 2:6 against St. Louis. Wild team roster for this game was mainly based on our prospects. #mnwild lines at #stlblues tonight Greenway-Rossi-Boldy Rask-Sturm-Bjugstad Cramarossa-Turgeon-Novak Beckman-Giroux-Bitten Hunt-Benn Lambos-Hicketts O’Rourke-Mermis Kahkonen Hammond Among all our players I would like to mention 2 forwards for this game (Beckman 2 goals and Bitten 2 assists). The rest did not show much.

Icechipper
Does Beckman have junior eligibility left? Or is it Iowa for him?

CreaseAndAssist
Anyone think that if Beckman keeps playing well and if Greenway can't find a fire soon that we might jettison him for Beckman who is younger, cheaper and likes to shoot the puck a helluva lot more?
lynxrattle
Greenway almost always leaves one wanting more out of him. I for sure wish that Beckman could challenge for a spot. Maybe that would help in getting more from Greenway.

Willing to bet that Greenway gets traded and Beckman takes his spot during the season. Greenway just reminds me of Coyle way too much. Alexandron
Here is an info taken from the Wild website: ST. PAUL -- Minnesota Wild General Manager Bill Guerin today announced the National Hockey League club has reduced its training camp roster to 29 players. The Wild assigned D Kevin Czuczman, D Joe Hicketts, D Dakota Mermis and F Mason Shaw to the Iowa Wild of the American Hockey League (AHL) and D Fedor Gordeev to the Iowa Heartlanders (ECHL). The Wild hosts the Colorado Avalanche on Monday at 7 p.m. at Xcel Energy Center. Hope, we will see tonight Kaprizov playing with together with Rossi and Zuccarello. Kind of a busy week for us - we are going to play 4 remaining pre-season games and hope, we will be able to select a final roster for the 2021-22 season. Alexandron
#mnwild lines for tonight vs. #avs appear to be: Kaprizov-Eriksson Ek-Zuccarello Greenway-Hartman-Foligno Rask-Gaudreau-Fiala Boldy-Sturm-Bjugstad Goligoski-Spurgeon Brodin-Dumba Kulikov-Benn Kahkonen What happened with Rossi? Is he injured? Kind of disappeared from our radars. Or maybe he have got a stomach flu, which is going around in Twin Cities? It is not a Covid, but very unpleasant one virus. Alexandron
We won that 1st pre-season home game with a score 3:1. Spurgeon; Kaprizov and Brodin were able to score. 3 points for Kaprizov and 2 points for Zuccarello in this game, which is sounds very promising. Chemistry is building. The opposite team was pretty young, but was looking pretty good. 3 stars of the game 1st for Kaprizov; 2nd for Zuccarello and 3rd for Kahkonen who was able to stop 15 out of 16 shots.

EmptyShelf
Kap certainly isn't rusty. Line-up only included Boldy of rookies. Sign of final roster? Rask still sucks ass...and a few others (newcomers) will too

Even our 1st source of the Wild news Russo is not giving us the info of the Rossi status. I would prefer to see at least one preseason game this line Boldy-Rossi-Fiala instead of Rask - Gaudreau- Fiala. As well as to see in remaining 3 home games Beckman in any lines who was playing pretty well in 2 road games.

Alexandron
Tomorrow we are going to play home game against St. Louis . From my understanding, Kahkonen will stay in the net entire game again, and the last 2 preseason games Talbot will be in the net against Chicago team. For tomorrow game 6 players will be called up from Iowa. Hope to see among of those youngsters Beckman; Khovanov (he is already in Iowa); Giroux; Dewar; Swaney ; Lodnia.
TonyOday
Greenway is gone this year. Rask is gone after this year. Rossi will be in the AHL this year so they dont have 4 contracts up in three years for the future of the team. Just a guess.
TonyOday
I could see Dumba gone too if they want to keep Fiala.
Alexandron
According to Russo: #mnwild recall Dominic Turgeon, Mitchell Chaffee, Nick Swaney, Joseph Cramarossa and Joe Hicketts for tonight’s exhibition game vs. #stlues Lineup tonight is expected to include roster hopefuls like Marco Rossi and Adam Beckman. We didn't play well 1st preseason game on a road(2:6) against St. Louis( except Beckman who netted 2 goals). Hope, our home game tonight will be a better one.
