GM Marc Bergevin is now just plain old Marc Bergevin, formerly of the Habs after being wacked by the Canadiens. Wow. Last year they made the SCF, this year they are among the worst teams in the game with heart of the team Shea Weber being out and Carey Price as well. Cinderella has turned into a pumpkin just four months later. Jeff Gorton who IMHO was given a raw deal in New York has been hired as the replacement. They did it all with smoke and mirrors and riding the hot hand of Price. No one here ever seriously considered them a legit playoff team and in the wacky COVID playoff system the NHL created last year, it created a perfect storm form them to make the finals. ...bottom line ....
