"You wanted the best...You got the best. The hottest team in the Leag........."
Aww Cr4p, Thanks Dallas 😒
To match Dallas's 7 gm win streak, We'll have to take down another top team.
If the Ek line can somehow pester the "1-2 punch" we might have a good shot at winning.
Have to ride the wave. Wild win 5-4.

This is not what I want to see early in the morning Russo.
But as long as there's a Philly logo behind them, It's ok. :P

It's going to be fun to see if our d can cope with the incredible talent McDavid has been showing.

I think Koskinen is not for real. He has been so lousy previous seasons. Just keep on working him. Shoot and make him move laterally to tire him. He has not been catching shots with his glove. Shoot shoot shoot. We can score with them - if the game is not decided in PP and PK.

5 - 4 Wild win.

Let’s just hope that Dumba doesn’t make any blunders.
Brodien and Dumba will surely be matched against his line.
Not worried about Brodien, but Dumba does worry me.

Dumba reminds me of this Finnish d-man from the 80's. They called him Blackout-Ruotanen, because every game he had one total blackout, like clockwork. Apart from that one humongous blunder, he played well enough to keep his place in his team.

Two things:

1 - The Oilers blueline is decimated right now, with mostly rookies in the lineup. If the Wild chip & chase, turn the defenders around and forecheck fast and hard, turnovers will happen. This leads to

2 - The Wild should make this as absolutely greasy a game as they can. They might surrender a PP or two, and maybe even a PPG or two, but they should obstruct McDavid and Draisaitl at every opportunity, because the refs won't come close to calling all of them. The teams which have done the best job of shutting them down are those that have been the most shameless at exploiting the league's steadfast adherence to game management.

---

I feel compelled to add: I'm not using point 2 as some sort of preemptive complaint, but from the standpoint of what I honestly would do if I was an opposing club. I fully expect that the Oilers will try to interfere with and obstruct Kaprisov tonight, rather than allow him to freely impose his talents against them.

Either way, if the Wild play a playoff-style game against Edmonton, I think they win rather easily.

Wild 5:4 win in OT (or SO). This is game against the Oilers will be another test for our team if we able to compete with a Cup contending team. Their team will play hard because they lost on their home ice last game with a score 1:5 against Kings. They do not want to repeat that scenario in front of their fans again, which were booing badly on the team.

I didn’t realize Driasiatl was as fleet of foot as he is. And for all the McDavid talk, Leon scares me to death when he has the puck.

Drisiatl has always been a wild killer.
