off_the_post
Wow did Chico say that? Then it really was as obvious as it looked. Unfortunately refs ruining the game is part of the game.

OH1FlyersFan
What have the Flyers done lately to merit such biased officiating? The last few games, well at least yesterday and so far today, have been a joke. The league is gunning for them again for some reason. Phillygrump
No idea, but today is more of the same. Teams are allowed to play the Flyers tight and Giroux gets zero respect. If they did half the sh!t they do to Giroux to Crosby, Malkin, Toews, or Kane there would be more penalties. Whatever man. This NHL has its darlings. The Flyers aren't yet one of them. I've been watching a lot of west coast hockey the last couple of years, and I've seen simimlar things out there.I think this has more to do with new, younger refs coming in to the league. A lot of the veteran refs have retired the last few years, and they are bringing in new guys. The veteran refs usually know when it is a good time to put away a whistle and when it is right, like when it leads to an odd-man rush.
