Pegulaville26
On Hockey Day in Canada, the Toronto Maple Leafs will retire Mats Sundin's jersey tonight. Toronto is hosting the Canadiens tonight, a fitting night to honor Sundin. Should be a great night and game in Toronto. Stick tap to Sundin and his excellent career. He deserves the honor. jammer2
Just watched the ceremony, very nice. I gave the guy tons of flack over the years, but bottom line.....hat's off to Mat's...he didn't have much to work with for many of his Toronto years, but made the best of it. A good solid captain, played the game with more grit as he got older. I respect the guy. Glad he got his night....much deserved.
Digityman
Seemed like the guy always showed up and put in a solid effort. Those types of players are a joy to watch regardless of the team they play for. Hopefully we can get the ceremony video up on here shortly. OzFlyer
The party was spoiled somewhat!
Digityman
@OzFlyer Somewhat? 5-0. That's not spoiled that's just rotten. Ouch. That would be an interesting stat. How many times has the home team won/lost after a ceremony. Here's the video:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=05bo7sJkaMk
