34thandPearl
OK...tell me the rest of you haven't grown a bit tired of Ms Eunice Kwak. She's a regular contributor to the CNN-SI Hockey page and always writes about how astonishingly wonderful Sydney Crosby is, or how much of a feel-good story the Penguins of '09, '10, '11 or ________ (fill in the blank) are. This woman makes me want vomit and I can only assume that my GI distress comes from her insatiable desire to polish Syndey's knob to a high gloss. Here's her most recent love note to Mr Crosby..http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2011/writers/sarah_kwak/11/22/penguins.sidney.crosby.return/index.html?sct=nhl_wr_a2

She seems to "desire" a mismatch herself. OK porn but I'm not real interested in her perspective on hockey.</div>
doom88
Unfortunately, Crosby is usually a top story for one reason or another. It's her job.
34thandPearl
I'd assumed that CNN-SI assigns a writer to cover the entire league, not just one (Crosby) or two (and Malkin) players. Maybe I'm a complete neophyte, but selling star power will lead the NHL down the dimly lit path of the NBA.

Vanflyer
I'd assumed that CNN-SI assigns a writer to cover the entire league, not just one (Crosby) or two (and Malkin) players. Maybe I'm a complete neophyte, but selling star power will lead the NHL down the dimly lit path of the NBA.Actually, Kwak has been pretty even handed in her articles. This last one is the FIRST that she has put Crosby in article title (rightfully so). If you look at her column list, you'll see that she writes about Pittsburgh during SCF. Aside from that there is hardly a blip. Here is her column archive. Maybe you don't like her style of writing or that she is a woman writing about mens sport, but it would seem difficult to me based on her column archive to dislike her because of a assumed love affair with Crosby. She has covered a wide array of topics (much more than the Philly beat hockey writers):http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/writers/sarah_kwak/archive/- Olympics (hockey, speed skating and skiing)- NCAA Final Frozen Four- Suspensions in NHL- NHL draft blogs- Womens Hockey- Stanley Cup Final(S)- College Hockey MVP (Hobey Baker)Truthfully, if there was any lament with her, it would be that perhaps she does not cover any Junior Canadian Hockey (CHL). Otherwise, the breadth of her body of work over two and half years is pretty impressive.Just trying to be a voice of reason. B21
@Van....good post. The more important question....does anyone dig her? Cute little Asian chickie who can talk a little hockey? What's not to like?
doom88
Didn't find a full body shot at a quick scan, so I'll abstain from voting. Could be a major deal breaker. However, 34th's back dimples chick - not too shabby.
