Samifan
I was one of the ones that thought he may comeback in July but this thank you from G seems liked he closed the Flyers chapter of his career for good and isn’t looking back.

In all honesty him coming back only helps to keep the imaginary hope that this is a contender. If he re-signs there or elsewhere maybe the idiots that be realize how bad this mess really is. The problem is Fletcher/Homer/Clarke now have $8 million to blow on the next overrated over the hill UFA.
JR Ewing
When he was given a hand for playing his 1,000th game as a Flyer, and he waved on his way off the ice, that was his final goodbye.
AlaskaFlyerFan
Maybe it’s his way of saying he’s homesick.

flyer4ever
Leave Risto be. He's helping us move up the draft board. For the next 5 years. 1

FD19372
Giroux isn't coming back here. He's 34 years old and this team is three to five years away, from being three to five years away. His 1000th game as a Flyer, was the last of his career here. I hope he helps the Panthers win the Stanley Cup.

Trading Giroux added years to the away-ness? But the 1st rounder the Flyers got for him is 2 years away. That should’ve kept them in the 2 years away range! I liked it better when we thought they were 2 years away from being 2 years away.

Well it's 3 drafts away so it's fair to say the Flyers are "3-5 years away from being 3-5 years away."
