Tomdog
A little off topic, but does anyone know where to find blocked shots stats? I just kind of noticed a trend that I wanted to verify.
ClusterChuck
Given both the team stats, This could be a high scoring game. But with Fluery in goal, He might want to try to match Talbot's game the day he showed up and to show off to his new home crowd. Let's go a bit crazy ...Wild win this one 6-2. TropicalFruitGirl26
The color guy in the ESPN booth was asked how different is MAF's style from Talbot's (in regards to the Wild defensemen knowing what to expect).... I was going to fall off my chair if the color guy would have said, "Fleury is less of a sieve for starters"

TropicalFruitGirl26
Could smell that goal coming! Jackets leaving HUGE holes on coverage during that PK.... it was just a question of whether the Wild were gonna cash in on that or not. They did! 1-0 Green Guys! TropicalFruitGirl26
Ugh...Fiala getting too cute with the puck and coughs it up... Fortunately, MAF gave the Columbus shooter nothing.

bbgarnett
Is someone going to get on Fiala. It seems game after game he's been a turnover machine.
TropicalFruitGirl26
Just now, bbgarnett said: Is someone going to get on Fiala. It seems game after game he's been a turnover machine. He's been that way pretty much since he entered the league. The main reason I am in favor of bringing his value up, then trading him for a nice return. I just think that is the way he is....and that could cost the Wild in a playoff scenario. I don't really dislike the guy as a talent.... but I'd rather take a bit LESS talent if the player is more responsible with the puck. TropicalFruitGirl26
Loving this mean streak the team is showing. My husband just told me it reminds him of the old Minnesota North Stars. He says, "They'll check you, take your lunch, then score on you" My husband, BTW, is no longer a big hockey fan. That died when the North Stars moved and he follows the Wild just a bit, only because I do. But the way THESE MN Wild play...might bring him back, eh?
TropicalFruitGirl26
Zach Werenski down n out from a vicious check by Middlton (there's that mean-ness again). That said, the hit did look clean.... just nasty.

TropicalFruitGirl26
Goligoski with a rocket! Stopped by Merzlikins, but he probably wishes he didn't. Looked painful.
