Trade offer for the Flyers

Strictly pulling this out of mid air, but a trade offer that makes perfect sense for both teams, keeping in mind I am a Red Wings fan so at least impartial:

Carle and JVR

for

Suter.

Perfect trade for both. Suter is sooooo gone at the end of the season, its had to be hard being one of the top ten defensemen in the game or better and living in Webers shadow, in a city that gets next to no publicity anyway.Carle and Suter are both UFA at the end of the season, Carle at least along with Gill gives the Preds a suitable replacement for Suter, while JVR steps right up into a top six forward spot and provides something in return for Suter long term, even if they choose not to resign Carle or if he winds up signing elsewhere. Suter is EXACTLY what Philly needs, he plays well on both special teams and along with Grossman overall fix the PK problems that have killed your team, and take a half a goal a game off the goalies stat line. What do you guys think?

If we're going to package Carle and JVR, it would have to be for a signed Suter, or in an attempt to get Weber, who we could at least keep from hitting the open market. There's no real point to hand Nashville JVR for half a season of upgrading from Carle to Suter and a brief exclusive negotiation period.

Precisely. Way too much risk for meager rewards. Weber yeah (if he signs), Suter, no - especially unsigned.

This a joke? Carle and JVR for Suter is not a fair trade at all......talking about getting robbed on a trade. You even said Suter is gone in the offseason anyway...So why would the Flyers make a mind numbing trade like that when they can get him in UFA?

No thank you! Suter isn't worth Carle and JVR. Besides, Nashville ISN'T a seller. They could make a very good run at the cup.
