I propose the following rephrase...

Is it as bad as the first book?

My Existence as an Effective NHL Defenseman?

It's the compelling limited edition sequel soon to be a fan favorite as kindling for your fireplace.

Hmmm.  That's also a good use.  I'm using the first for my cats as a doormat/step into their litter box.   It helps in two ways:   they see it on the way in and makes the crap flow freely.   And they can wipe their ass on it on the way out.   And the picture never gets altered.
