Back to back games are always a bit tough and the Kraken are more rested and coming off a huge win over the Avalanche. The Kraken still have to come into Minnesota tonight which is going to be tough and play a well rested Fleury in net. There is no doubt that the Wild is a better team overall then the Kraken and have more depth. I still think the Wild will win this game, but I think they need to get off to a fast start and out in front in the first period. Kap and Fiala will have a good night. I think the Wild win this on 5-2.

We were going to see both goalies in this B2B so why not go with Talbot last night.
Blues beat SJ 😒 so we have to put 2 more points up to see if the Blues match.
The Av's probably overlooked the Kraken and are playing comfortable having clinched 1st place.
Kap will need some multi goal games to reach 50 so why not get a couple tonight.
Wild Win 6-3
(I was going to go 5-2 but Wild Thing beat me to it) :P

Not only Kaprizov , but Zuccarello and Fiala are having a superb chance to improve their career records this season according to this table:

Minnesota Wild PR

@mnwildPR

Most points in season in #mnwild history:

Kirill Kaprizov (2021-22) 97

Marian Gaborik (2007-08) 83

Brian Rolston (2005-06) 79

Mats Zuccarello (2021-22) 78

Kevin Fiala (2021-22) 77

Eric Staal (2017-18) 76.

Agree, we need to win this game , because we are on a race for a 2nd place in our Division. Not like Colorado played against Kraken, we should take this game very seriously.

I just looked for NHL stats who was able to place 50+ goals per season for the most years and found out three players Mike Bossy; Wayne Gretzky and this season Alexander Ovechkin were able to reach total 9 seasons. No one was able to make it so far in 10 seasons. Maybe our Kaprizov will put this goal during his career? Elite prospects link shows his current and projected stats for this season:

current stats 97 points (44 goals;53 assists; +/- +25) in 76 played games;

projected stats  103 points ( 47 goals;56 assists; +/- +27) in 81 games of the regular season. One game he missed because of injury.

In my opinion, he should brake the projected 47 goals and should place 6 more goals in remaining 6 games to reach 50 goals individual team's record.
