JackStraw
It's not peewee, they are pros. They can certainly play a whole game at any tempo, if they choose to.If they choose not to, they are not pros.

Phillygrump
You are absolutely right. I think this team is still missing a Lappy. Talbot can do it on the ice and keep the room light, but Lappy was even more.Do you think anyone like that is available? What about Ott? Is that his type of game? doom88
Lappy was one of a kind, and irreplaceable. I'm not sure you can scout for a guy like that. Talbot was a decent shot at filling the void, but even he can't fill those shoes. In short, no, there is no one. Maybe if the Flyers can secure a lockdown center who will dive in front of any shot, finish every check, and fight when necessary they'll get close...depending on their love for the game and their locker room attitude. The Flyers don't need a yell in faces guy, I think. They would be better off with a lead-by-example day-in day-out guy, who occasionally addresses the room in a positive frame. An all effort guy who can pick the team up with his voice and play. In other words, good luck finding him.
