CreaseAndAssist Posted July 11, 2022 Author Share Posted July 11, 2022 Sometimes misfortune can lead to opportunities. I still feel it was a very encouraging sign he came to Montreal for the draft. It was almost as if he wanted to prove he wanted to come to North America. However, will Manitogorsk pull a SKA St. Petersburg and insist he signs an extension in order to get playing time (as they barely played him when he was with the big club last year)? He's only under contract for one more year. If I'm the Wild, I'd try to tell him if you have to play Russian Junior instead, go ahead...we'll find another place in Europe or North America after that.
