NHL HHOF
Patrick Kane https://www.nhl.com/player/patrick-kane-8474141 Patrick Kane has played 15 seasons in the NHL, with three shortened seasons (2012-2013, 2019-2020, 2020-2021), and no cancelled seasons. He has never scored 50 goals in one season. He currently stands at 430 regular season goals. He needs to play 5 more seasons to make it to 20, and score 70 goals to make it to 500. 70 goals divided by 5 seasons is 14 goals per season, but Patrick Kane is still capable of scoring 25 goals or more per season. Depending on injuries, it will either be Patrick Kane or Evgeni Malkin, who becomes the 48th member of the NHL 500+ goals club, and the other will be the 49th member. NHL HHOF
Evgeni Malkin has 16 goals so far this season, while Patrick Kane only has 8 goals so far this season. Evgeni Malkin now stands at 460 goals, while Patrick Kane stands at 438 goals and having some hip problems. It is now safe to say that Evgeni Malkin will become the 48th member of the NHL 500+ goals club, and it will definitely happen next season, if not by the end of this season. 40 more goals for Evgeni Malkin. In the opening post from September 17 of 2022, I mentioned how Patrick Kane had played 15 seasons in the NHL so far, with 430 goals, and how he needed 5 more seasons to hit 20, and 70 more goals to hit 500, and 14 goals pre season to reach 500 in his 20th season. Patrick Kane now has 14 goals this season, with 7 weeks left.
