I wouldn’t hold my breath waiting on a fight with marner.

Toronto getting away with some high hits and after-the-fact checks out there.

I mean, if the refs are gonna call this lax like this, then the Wild need to get in on some of that physicality too.

Unless......the Toronto fix is in....

According to my Score app the Wild are outhitting them 7 to 5

yes, yes.... I know...my posts drip with sarcasm on that.
You gotta understand, I have trolled Reaves wherever he has played.
Just because he plays for the Wild now, doesn't mean I stop doing that.
It's how I get my per diem money. :bigteeth:

But...Reaves vs Matthews certainly is a reality.
Matthews is a freakin goon animal!

Not so  much the amount of hits, its the type.
Looks to me many of the Leaves® hits are of the shoulder or higher variety....and they seem to hit guys well after the puck has been vacated.

Reaves and Simmonds wouldn’t be a bad bout. Not sure if they’ve ever danced together in the past

I wonder if the ol Wayne Train still has anything left in him for that type of thing.
He gave his body, literally, for the game and is paying the heavy physical toll today.
He seems a shell of his former self.

Didn’t the Leafs let him go

and then brought him back?

May miss most of this one due to visiters but maybe catch the 3rd.
Tough test for sure but with the  energy from Fleury and possibly Reaves playing might give us a chance.
Wild Win 4-3.

I agree toughest test against a pretty nice offensive team. Not sure if we will be able to win this game. I would predict 3:4, probably in OT.
