I got at a charity auction next to a #17 (unsigned) I got 50% off.

I'm betting you can put names to those without too too much effort

He as close to being fired as I am being an NBA first round pick.... I trip over my feet and am 5'10".

Until there is ownership that cares more about winning and less about corporate profits, it will be more of the same.

I think he finishes the season & is fired before the Draft.

Every day I come here and when I see this thread I think, is there news? is there a new development? are we getting closer?

and every day there's nothing.

It's a really horrible and cruel teasing thread :)

Is this an option worth looking into?

They are deep at RW.

TK could be traded too/as well.

I don't see the point of extending caphits longer. The team isn't going anywhere presently, so just let these shite contracts run out and hope and pray Fletcher gets promoted before he can sign more dumb stupidity.

Of course his first move will be to hire some clown from houseleague to GM just cause he's from Minnetonka.

It's not just about the cap hit it is making room for the kids they have to play which should be by next year on a few.

Just look at the logjam and you're also free up cap space at the same time.

Just worth discussing.

Brink Forester and Lycksell are ready to make the transition.

So why wait 3 more years?

Atkinson has three years left. Jeezus, even Fletchers best trade is terrible.

edit: ok, he has 2 left. If this isn't yet another career ending injury that Fletcher seems to covet in all his transactions, he's probably tradeable once healthy.....IF healthy.

Exactly you want to wait to bring Foerster up when he is 24

Kid is ready now.

Brink will be 24 too.

At some point in a rebuild you have to move the older guys out.

Now you may find a taker for Cam but maybe more likely not.

TK is ripe for the trading too.

If not now then when?

I've said it before...I'd trade anyone for the right price.

I DO NOT WANT FLETCHER TRADING KONECNY...he'll just get completely taken.

Yeah I agree Chuck should be put in a straight jackets till the end of the season when he is fired.

Let the new guy make the moves.

I wish I had some hope that a new guy is coming in but I don’t. I had it until the Flyers started winning, then Hayes gets an All Star nomination, even Ristolsinen starts looking like a serviceable D-man…it’s all going the wrong direction. GMs don’t get replaced when the team appears to be heading the right direction and for Comcast I’m sure “appears to be” is plenty good enough (provided it leads to PO appearances).

POs or no POs if they finish near .500 they won’t replace Fletcher. He and Scott will talk about how a healthy Couturier and Atkinson will make all the difference. They won’t be completely wrong. Maybe next year - if those 2 actually make it back - the Flyers won’t have any 10-game losing streaks.

It is, but the Flyers aren't that much different than the rest of the world. The entire executive of my employer says hello.
