Nice like a playoffs efforts from both sides. Fantastic 1st period. Hope they will keep that way entire game. Probably lots of adrenalin is going through the fans at our arena.

The entire league knows of the Kap-Zucc passing favoritism and are now cheating somewhat to focus on those two and where they are. That might be why we're seeing less 'magical' passes connecting.
Too much forcing into the crowded areas trying the East-West across the zone. The North-South is fine as we saw last game.
We're literally passing up scoring opps.

How is the first helmet removal not a penalty?

The nhl may have to add a rule for opposing players taking helmets off their opponents. 
dumba and Kaprizov basically in the penalty box because their helmet was taken off and laying on the ice.

Fleury has had to make a lot of big saves tonight.
Ottenger not so much that period.

Aside from L1, Our lines have been a jumbled mess for a while due to injury/Illness and a suspension.
The Stars have been able to pretty much roll the same lines all year. Big difference between these two teams.

Walker is getting great XP from these 2 games vs tough opponents and sadly will have to leave for Shaw returning.

I agree. Fleury had more big saves so far than Oettinger.  Shots ours 14 vs their 25.
