If the two losses to the Flyers are the reason the Sabres miss the playoffs, even better! i mean we are getting a talented player in this draft regardless, whether it's 40 goal scorer in bedard, or 25 goal scorer, next year, everything for us to be a contender really depends on our guys staying healthy, tk courturier and hopefully farabee returns to his 25 goal self and if owen can replicate the 20 goal season as well and what players briere trades away and replaces them with the players that can give us 20 or more goals, if he does that and our goaltending is solid, we could be back in the playoffs. the main reason why we arent contenders is because we lost so much production, jvr is done, courturier, cam, tk is out, farabee took a step back from his injury, i mean if everyone was healthy we probably would have been a wild card team. Fletcher really was terrible at running a hockey team. Maybe he could try Taco Bell. The goal isn't to barely make the playoffs. That can't be the lofty expectation. Winning the cup is the goal.
