Vanflyer
.....not sure if anyone noticed this and perhaps I am just slow on he uptake (well, I am slow on the uptake, but regardless), Bill Meltzer had the byline for the Flyers game summary on NHL.com yesterday. He is by far my favorite Flyers columnist. Congrats to him for getting recognition like that. http://www.nhl.com/ice/recap.htm?id=2011021121

five6four
I know hes been doing pieces for the flyers team website for awhile, so im not sure if the 'NHL.com correspondent" means something new for him, or if they just take a recap from a team writer sometimes. Either way, I'd imagine youd have to go far to find someone who isnt a fan of his writing. (ok, maybe not that far, but outside of your typical Eskin blowhard)
JackStraw
Meltzer is easily the best Flyers reporter around.
Bakanekimiwa
meltzer is by far my favorite of the philly beat writers. he's easily the most knowledgeable about hockey and is spot on with his observations and assessments. good for him.
