JUNGJAMS Posted April 9, 2012 Share Posted April 9, 2012 what i hated the most was that mikalik (however you spell it) just faced the boards the whole fricking time. i wouldn't be surprised if that team has private practices of how to make hits and such look worse then they are. that's why they called that hit. in the old NHL mikalik would have passed it off and faced the guy and either take the hit, or pull a forsberg and given it right back. in fact, anyone remember the kind of abuse that guy used to take and he never said anything about it. i cant remember hearing him say one word. those type players are slowly disappearing sadly. I went back to check out the slo-mo and RInaldo's initial hit was shoulder to shoulder, and the Pen rolled to face the glass. Then Rinaldo's glove came up to his back, and he really could have given the guy a good shove, but let up. And still got bounced.
