Spinorama Posted November 9, 2011 Share Posted November 9, 2011 I like the signing. I do wish he'd play with an edge a little more than he does and give up jumping up on offense a little bit. When he plays with an edge, dude can be down right nasty, which is effective AND fun to watch. I used to like watching him jump up on the play, but he's so ineffective on offense now I l only wonder why he continues to do it with such frequency. We just need to come to terms with that Coburn has developed into a nice shut-down d-man (who should show his mean streak more, cause it is there) and NOT a high scoring d-man.The guy can hit (when he wants to), skate very well, move the puck, and he is our longest tenured flyer.As long as he doesnt get a NMC/NTC I'm good with this.
