TedZep Posted June 4, 2012 Posted June 4, 2012 "The surging Los Angeles Kings announced that left winger Simon Gagne will play in Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Finals on Monday night against visiting New Jersey. The Kings lead the series, two games to none.Gagne, 32, the Flyers’ No. 1 pick in the 1998 draft, will come off the injured list and play in his first game since Dec. 26. He has been sidelined with a concussion.By playing in one Finals game, Gagne will get his name engraved on the Cup if the Kings win it." 1 Quote

terp Posted June 4, 2012 Posted June 4, 2012 @TedZepI understand Richardson will sit. I don't know that anyone in the line up deserved to sit, so wonder if this move qualifies as monkeying with success. Richardson averaged about 11 minutes versus the Devils but I couldn't assess his performance other than to guess that he's far better suited to a 4th line, energy role than Gagne. 1 Quote
flyercanuck Posted June 4, 2012 Posted June 4, 2012 Great move...unless Gagne gets laid out by a hit. Then it's plain stupid. I'm sure it's Gagnes decision. Quote

Probably on the 3rd line? Could be a real x-factor.Go Kings, go! Quote
mojo1917 Posted June 4, 2012 Posted June 4, 2012 I'm not super superstitious but, I don't know if I mess with the chemistry I'm happy to see Gags get the opportunity , hope it doesn't hurt the chemistry . Quote
doom88 Posted June 5, 2012 Posted June 5, 2012 Um, I meant eventually.C'mon, don't back off. He's that good. Even better than Jon Sim. Quote
