DinahMoeHumm Posted June 23, 2012 Posted June 23, 2012 Salary dump, and not a bad move... though I'd have rather seen Martin moved first. Z was solid at times, and a great shot blocker, but never came close to living up to his price tag. Quote

hf101 Posted June 23, 2012 Posted June 23, 2012 @Polaris922The Pittsburgh Penguins are working hard to acquire the rights to Predators defenceman Ryan Suter, according to CSNPhilly.com. This makes some sense out of the Michalek trade. Quote

Mad Dog Posted June 29, 2012 Posted June 29, 2012 @Polaris922As a Flyer fan, I certainly pray to God you don't sign both Suter *and* Parise. That would almost be a disaster. Quote
flyercanuck Posted June 29, 2012 Posted June 29, 2012 @Mad Dog I don't think you can spend half your capspace on 4 players. Quote
Mad Dog Posted June 29, 2012 Posted June 29, 2012 I don't think you can spend half your capspace on 4 players.I know. After that contract they just gave to Crosby, it's hard for me to see them going after both. But they also traded Staal and freed up some space... so you never know. Quote

More $$ to spend Quote
