Irishjim
Columbus's GM Howson rejected a trade giving them all of the Islanders Draft Picks! LOL.For the Jackets' No. 2 pick, the Islanders offered pick Nos. 4, 34, 65, 103, 125, 155 and 185. The bounty would have given the Jackets the following picks: 4, 31, 34, 62, 65, 95, 103, 125, 152, 155, 182 and 185. And if that weren't enough, the Jackets could have had the Kings' No. 30 if they wanted it.
Irishjim
DownGoesBrownGarth Snow just offered me a bag full of gold and diamonds for a used copy of my book, but Scott Howson says I should turn it down...
Irishjim
@geoffdetweilerNo seriously, how is Scott Howson an NHL GM? Even a monkey throwing a dart would have gotten one of these right.
flyercanuck
I heard that on HockeyCentral and thought Columbus was out of their minds.
Phillygrump
This is all going to end with Howson letting him go to the Rags for virtually nothing.
Phillygrump
Sorry, I was still thinking about Nash. He turned down some good offers for Nash. Imagne if he moved Nash and #2? He could put together a deep team.
Phillygrump
But maybe this wasn't the draft to make a trade like that.
